Twelve Steps Intuitively – The History
9T Degrees is a UK firm that was privately commissioned to investigate, rationalise and produce a working model of the twelve step processes that could withstand scientific scrutiny. The commission culminated in the published works:

The publication Twelve Steps Intuitively (TSI) was subjected to qualitative field research in a Treatment Centre based in Essex, UK with positive results both during and following its initial development phase.
Further, the TSI approach appears to have opened the process often used for addiction type issues to become mainstream in the UK for all fields of Mental Health issues where recovery is plausible. Given the more appealing dynamics of the model derived it now seems that such processes can also now be introduced to wider audiences such as younger communities in appropriate environments.
Despite Public Health England and the UK Government promoting both Twelve Step Facilitation (TSF) and Facilitating Access to Mutual Aid (FAMA) initiatives, neither succeeded. Both approaches were restricted nationally as the quality of each and their provision could not historically have been assessed nor providers appraised to any reliable measure. Accordingly no value for money exercises were plausible.
Twelve Steps Intuitively (TSI) provides the solution to these dilemma and a sound basis for a grounding framework whilst enabling safeguarding by way of quality reference.
As a direct consequence of the proprietary intellectual property, 9T Degrees this became the only firm qualified to assess, audit and regulate such processes in the world.
